The events for semi-finals were Court Room and Crisis Management which saw that the participants totally deserved to be in semi-finals. Along with that we also gave a chance to all other students to qualify straight to the finals by competing in Group Discussion.
Day 4 – The fourth day was the highlight of the Week which had Management Games Finals and Night Events. For the Management Games Finals we had Salesmen of the Year event which tested the practical skills of the students where they had to sell products to the public. The competition had reached to different height. But that wasn’t an end to the day as we had Night events held on the 5th floor. There was a different buzz among the students as they were awaited for the first night event of BMS Week. The event saw a tremendous response from the students and it turned out to be a huge success.
Day 5 – It was a day to do something for the society. All the committee members visited King George V Memorial, Mahalaxmi where we spent time at old age home and orphanage house. It was a heart touching experience to see the joy on their faces. We also got a chance to relive our childhood days with the kids wherein we danced and played with them. The day ended on a emotional note where none of us wanted to depart from the kids.
Day 6 – BMS Week is incomplete without Lala Premiere League which is a cricket tournament for all cricket lovers. The event was held at Oval Maidan, Churchgate. The excitement among the players was at a different level. We got to see our own Sachin, Dhoni, Kumble and Zaheer. The talent was incredible. And the event again turned out to be a huge huge success.
Day 7 – the final day of the BMS Week was reserved for Talent Hunt where the participants had to solve clues on the streets of South Mumbai to win the treasure. The final day ended in a grand fashion.
Thus, there it was an end to an Incredible Week which couldn’t have been possible with the support of the teacher’s and the students who helped to take the festival to a new height. And the hard work by all the committee members had paid off as the festival was a huge success. We hope BMS Week 2014 turns out to be bigger and better.
