Beach Clean-Up Drive - 10th September 2022


Objectives:

  • To create awareness about the need for proper disposal of waste and maintaining a clean coastline.
  • To clean to beach post Ganpati Visarjan.

DLLE Unit of Lala LajpatRai College of Commerce & Economics along with B.A.F Department in collaboration with Bhamla Foundation jointly organised CLEAN-A-THON - Ocean Waste Management at Juhu Beach. This was Mumbai’s Biggest clean up drive post Ganpati Visarjan.

Outcome:

  • Public was sensitized about the need for proper disposal of waste.
  • The beach coastline was rendered clean from the debris and waste post visarjan.
