SANKALP is an University Level/ District Level Socio- cultural Fest organized every year by NSS Unit of Lala Lajpatrai College on various social themes. The objective of Sankalp is to provide a platform to the NSS Volunteers to participate and share their opinions and views on various societal issues through Creative Performances. Volunteers find it appealing as it provides them with an opportunity to showcase their talents and also to win Awards and Appreciation. Sankalp was a great success for these many years where a huge Volunteer footfall was observed . It could create an effective awareness among the youth on various women issues, children issues, issues pertaining to Gender Inclusivity, Intellectual Disability, Hunger & Malnutrition and Tribal Heritage of India. SANKALP has now become a brand to which NSS Volunteers across University of Mumbai look forward to participate in.
