One-day industrial visit at Ram Fashions Exports Pvt. Ltd -8th August, 2022

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM:
- To make the participants aware & gain knowledge on entire manufacturing process, functioning of the footwear industry – specially manufacturing of shoes.
- The objective of the visit was to give the students an exposure of processes at factory and make them practically understanding the workings.
BRIEF REPORT OF THE ACTIVITY
The team left the school campus at 7:40 am with all the students and professors in 2 buses. After reaching the factory the students were divided into batches for the verbal along with visible session to enhance the understanding and learning for students. While one batch of students interacted with the serving directors i.e Naresh and Suresh Bhasin, the other batch of students were taken for the factory visit to experience the real working and making of the goods in a factory. The interaction consisted the details of the establishment, ideas, ongoing mission and vision of the firm.They also got to visit the factory store which has Green sole shoes made from old shoes donated to them and they could understand the difference between the factory price and store price. The students personally got a chance to interact with the workers and get to know the entire process clearly.
The visit ended with a bag full of knowledge and learning for the students.
OUTCOME OF THE PROGRAM:
- Students were oriented by Mr. Suresh Bhasin(director of M/S Ram fashions Pvt. Ltd.) in their conference room. They gained knowledge on entire manufacturing process, functioning of the footwear industry – specially manufacturing of shoes.
- The students received a broad exposure of the real factory working and different management styles
