OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM:
- The main objective of the webinar was to make BMS students understand the importance of the working of a stock market, fundamental analysis, mutual funds and derivative market.
- Stock market is a subject which every student takes keen interest in and loves to understand it in depth so through these webinars students could understand it in detail and enhance their knowledge in this subject.
- These webinars were spread across 4 days for an in-depth study on these topics.
BRIEF REPORT OF THE ACTIVITY
- On DAY 1 the webinar was on working of the Stock Market Starting with the speaker explaining us about what a stock market is and how does it work in a very simple and easy to understand language
- On DAY 2 Mr Kaushal spoke about what a mutual fund is and how one can start their journey of investing in mutual funds.
- On DAY 3 we learned about what derivatives are and terminologies related to it.
OUTCOME OF THE PROGRAM
The students received a broad exposure of financial aspects- FUTURES, DERIVATIVES, MUTUAL FUNDS and many others which would give them a broader vision of the stock market.
