OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM
- To decide their goal before making an investment decision as an ACTIVE INVESTOR.
- Maintaining liquidity, or ensuring that you can always move your money around and have access to it.
- Investing early allows you to develop disciplined spending habits by focusing on your budget and cutting expenses when needed.
BRIEF REPORT OF THE ACTIVITY
The resource person was invited Mr. OM THAKKAR, he was none other than a TYBMS Finance Student itself. He gave a start with a general question “who all are knowing about investing/trading or who all have been investing savings for greater returns”. On this everyone had their own justification and then he started with different valuable and resourceful instances or stories which had an immense clearance in minds of many students related to the current topic.
He stated many types of investment options like in shares, sovereign gold bonds, real estate, fixed deposits (FD), etc. This gave students idea of different options and its benefits. He stated many tricks like 100-age, beat inflation ,3x emergency rule, auto sweep activation, etc. This session was overall a motivational and guidance sort of superb session. After session Mr. OM THAKKAR was been felicitated by honoring him an award of excellence by FYBMS students and by CA Prof. Priti mam. The session ended with vote of thanks by the resource person and CA Prof. Priti Parikh.
OUTCOME OF THE PROGRAM
The webinar gave the following outcome
- It helped us clarify our investment ideas and identify our risk tolerance, which is the level of risk of loss we're willing and able to tolerate to help achieve our investment goals.
- Aware of basic investment fundamentals.
- It cleared many queries regarding investment in our near future and will definitely make us a hassle free Investor in future.
