Report on Career Opportunities in Shipping and International Logistics

A seminar on career opportunities in shipping and logistics was organized by the Dept. of Commerce on 13th December 2022. The seminar took place in room no. 408 lead by Mr. Anand Thacker. The seminar was organized with an intention to educate the students with the career opportunities in the field of shipping and logistics and give them a detailed view of the sector. MOU was signed on 17th November 2022 with IISFT for the EXIM Executive – NSQF4 Level Course.

Objectives of the event:

1) To make the youth aware about the careers in the field of shipping and logistics.

2) To promote employability and job oriented courses.

3) To give students a preview of the tasks and assignments as a logistics personnel.

Outcomes of the event:

1) Awareness among students regarding logistics career.

2) Opportunity provided to students to enter the Shipping and logistics field through certified course.

3) Promotion of skill development & NSQF4 Level Certification .
