Objectives:

To provide a platform for students, scholars, academicians and corporates alike to present their research and views on the latest developments happening across the entire gamut of diverse research areas. Since research is the base of education, being a responsible institution, the college takes pride in taking the lead to encourage research based endeavors like these

Lala Lajpatrai College of Commerce & Economics in collaboration with University of Swahili, Panama, organized an International Multi-Disciplinary Conference on Business, Commerce, Management, Law, Humanities & Social Sciences, keeping in trend with previous years of hosting an International Conference every year.

Program started with the welcome address by Principal Dr. Neelam Arora and introduction of Chief Guest Mr. Chamnan Srisawat. He spoke at length about the importance of education and how tourism sector can help develop economies around the world and also the need for more interpersonal collaboration between organizations in Thailand & India to enjoy mutual benefits of both cultures and both cultures had many similarities.

This was followed by the address of the Guest of Honour, Ms. George who shared her thoughts on the areas related to the conference theme and gave her opinion on the cultural diversities in the face of cultural similarities and how they can be leveraged.

The key note address was delivered thereafter by key-note speaker Dr. Wanida Wadeecharoen from Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology who also made a technical research paper presentation which spoke about the comparative growth prospects of Thailand & India as far as tourism aspect is concerned.

The dignitaries then released the research journal containing the research papers of the conference and copies of the same were given to them and well appreciated.

Large number of quality papers were presented by delegates in the two technical sessions of the conference.

A vote of thanks was lastly proposed by Dr. Rajesh Mankani the conference convener to mention the special appreciation of all the people who contributed in making the conference a grand success.

 

Outcome:

A total of 28 delegates took part in the conference trip which was composed of students, professors, academicians & scholars from pan-India, including Jaipur, Pusad, Pune, Gurgaon & also from Nepal. The conference even attracted a delegate from Japan who presented her research paper as well. 15 Papres were presented in the conference.
