Brief report of the activity:
MEBIDO was held in the auditorium of Lala Lajpatrai College for five days. Top- notch professionals from the media industry have brief sessions about their work and the media industry. More than 25 different colleges were invited to attend the session. Besides informative sessions, there were workshops organized too. There was a crowd of more than 200 students attending the event.
For all the 5 days we had different workshops and seminars conducted for the students to exhibit the practicality of different fields.
The event commenced with ACP Akilesh Singh (Police ACP and DCP Cyber Crime) who made us aware about the various unknown crimes that happen on the internet. Then we had dance workshop by Mr. Rajeev Dinkar. After which the most lovable couple of television Manish Goplani and Monica Khanna from the daily soap Thapki Pyaar ki took over the stage. This was followed by a seminar by Veteran Rakesh Bedi and Guddi Maruti on Acting. The event concluded with Sandra Almeida conducting a session on journalism, following which we had a workshop on hair and makeup by Bollywood Hollywood International and lastly we had a peek into Bollywood with Mr. Mukesh Rishi.
Outcomes:
- Networking amongst student and industry professionals.
- Understanding the new demands and requisite skills for the media industry
- Developed Leadership Skills
