Objectives

To highlight the spirit of innovation & creativity supported by the history of mankind highlighting the testimony of a firm belief that Necessity is the mother of Invention aligning the positives & the brighter perspectives of COVID-19. The conference started with the welcome address of Principal. Dr. Neelam Arora followed by briefing about the conference given by conveners Dr. Rajesh Mankani & Dr. Arun Poojari.

The Chief Guest Dr. Pattanant Petchedchoo in his address highlighted the privileges of COVID times; helping the human race rise and not bow down to challenges. She also exclaimed the importance of networking & building a value system overseas can be achieved through positivity & resilience in the tough times of this global pandemic.

The Key note Speaker Dr. Phoommhiphat Pongpruttikul enumerated the various kinds of diversities categorizing them effectively and precisely offering the mantras to overcome the same may it be an adversity of social, emotional physical or any other by embracing the challenges with necessary skill sets to handle them.

The speaker of technical session Mr. S. Venkatraman (Partner & Director - RABO Equity Advisors Pvt Ltd.) elaborated his views highlighting the famous Indian personalities who overcame adversities creating a mark in their area of expertise. Highlighting the brighter side of Covid pandemic, it has opened a door to upscale the manufacturing industries producing sanitizers & masks boosting the cyclical flow of income. Immunity boosters, packaged food products had a manifold increase in demand. OTT platforms have seen an accelerated growth in the entertainment industry bestowing a positive ray of hope in the clutter of adversities.

The inaugural session ended with a formal vote of thanks by Vice-principal Mrs. Vidya Bhide (Vice Principal – Sr. College) for the elaborative & insightful deliberations by the speaker. Towards the end Dr. Prabodh Chobe gave the valedictory address speaking positively about the way the world has always dealt with such pandemics – In the end Science has always won. The session was ended with formal Vote of Thanks which was given by Ms. Delaveen Tarapore.

Outcome:

24 papers were presented by research scholars and faculties in the two track sessions chaired by Dr. Shagun Shrivastava {Principal of Mittal College of Arts} and Dr. Rita Khatri There were total 24 paper presenters and they were divided in Two Tracks. Track one was chaired by Dr. Shagun Shrivastava and Track Two was chaired by Dr. Rita Khatri (Associate Professor – H.R College of Commerce & Economics) respectively.
