NAME OF EVENT: : INTERCOLLEGIATE FEST, TECHNOTRONIX

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS/ BENEFICIARIES :  160 Nos.

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM

1. To provide a platform to the students to showcase their individual talents.
2. To give them a chance to learn teamwork and benefits of team spirit first hand.
3. To provide the students an opportunity to nurture their leadership skills and managerial mind-set.
4. To inculcate sense of entrepreneurship into students.
5. To spread awareness about pros and Cons of technical aid.

BRIEF REPORT OF THE ACTIVITY

The students of BSc.IT organized Technotronix fest from 16th December to 17th December, 2024. The theme of the fest was “Tech Wars” in which 17 colleges participated in various events like Tech Debate, Proto typing,Code Quiz, Stand Up Shayari and various gaming events like BGMI, Rink football and Box cricket in which students participated in huge numbers.

In pre event of Technotronix 2024-25, Fruit donation drive was conducted by the students of B.Sc. IT department for the inhabitants of Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital on 7th of December, 2024.

For Tech Debate, gold medal was won by Maharashtra College. For Code quiz, Hinduja College won followed by KES Shroff College.For Stand-up Shayari, Maharashtra College won and for Proto Typing Wilson College won followed by Maharashtra College.As Post Event Students collected plastics from the entire college and donated to buyfoodwithplastic_india, an NGO which feeds underprivileged in return of these waste plastic, which they recycle. This was a small step towards betterment of environment.

OUTCOME OF THE PROGRAM

1. The student participants came back with great learning as to their abilities and skill sets
2. The students got exposure to a bigger arena vis-à-vis the participation of multiple colleges at the event
3. The motivation levels of the students was visibly enhanced as they were charged up to win the trophy in the coming events.
4. They got an idea about how they can give back to society and also they got an awareness on how to make environment pollution free through small steps.
