The Discipline Committee of Lala Lajpatrai College of Commerce and Economics (Autonomous) plays a vital role in maintaining the decorum, order, and ethical environment within the campus. It is responsible for promoting a culture of respect, accountability, and responsible student behaviour. The committee ensures that all students adhere to the institutional code of conduct and acts as a guiding force in shaping the character and values of learners.
The committee functions as a proactive body to resolve issues related to misconduct, student indiscipline, and violations of campus rules. Through awareness drives, policy enforcement, and regular student engagement, it aims to create a safe, inclusive, and disciplined educational environment.
- To inculcate values of discipline, responsibility, and mutual respect among students.
- To ensure adherence to the college’s code of conduct, rules, and policies.
- To handle cases of student indiscipline with fairness, confidentiality, and firmness.
- To promote a safe and conducive learning environment by discouraging misconduct and encouraging ethical behaviour.
- To conduct awareness programs, pledge sessions, and educational activities on discipline-related topics.
- To guide students on acceptable behaviour and conflict resolution in a positive and constructive manner.
