Name of Committee: Institute Innovation Council
As per the initiative of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and AICTE, our college has established the Institute Innovation Council (IIC) to systematically encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, and start-up culture among students and faculty.
The IIC is committed to fostering a vibrant innovation ecosystem within the campus by organizing ideation, pre-incubation, and entrepreneurship development activities. It serves as a platform to bridge academic learning with real-world problem-solving and market-ready solutions.
- To promote innovation and start-up culture among students and faculty through regular activities, awareness sessions, and training.
- To encourage the development of innovative ideas that address societal or industrial challenges and support their transformation into viable products or services.
- To organize hackathons, ideation competitions, workshops, and expert talks in collaboration with industry and start-up mentors.
- To facilitate access to funding, mentoring, and incubation support for promising student/faculty-led innovations.
- To nurture an entrepreneurial mindset through regular exposure to success stories, innovation best practices, and national-level platforms.
