The College has an active counselling & Placement Cell headed by Counsellor Ms. Asha Agarwal.
We also have career counsellor Dr. Pratibha Jain who visits the cell every Thursday, 9.00 am to 11.30 am and all other weekdays on prior appointment, and provides individual guidance as well as group counselling sessions to students.
The services provide include:
- aptitude identification,
- career planning,
- information of various higher education options in India n abroad,
- complete guidance for forms and applications to universities in different countries,
- seminars by internationals university delegation, professionals, and alumni of different University,
- resume writing,
- training in interview skills,
- individual career related queries, etc.
The Career Counselling & Placement Cell is a vital student support initiative aimed at guiding learners toward meaningful academic and professional pathways. The Cell bridges the gap between student potential and industry requirements by offering structured career guidance, skills training, and placement support.
It serves as a platform for students to explore career opportunities, gain awareness about various industries, pursue higher education options, and build employability skills. The Cell maintains strong collaborations with industry professionals, corporate recruiters, alumni, and training organizations to ensure students are career-ready in a competitive world. The Cell functions as a student-cantered, inclusive, and future-oriented unit, committed to equipping students with the confidence, clarity, and competence to make informed career decisions.
Objectives:
- To provide personalized career guidance and mentoring to students based on their interests and aptitudes.
- To organize career awareness seminars, industry interaction sessions, and soft skill development workshops.
- To build strong ties with corporates and institutions for internship and placement opportunities.
- To facilitate pre-placement training including resume writing, interview skills, aptitude training, and professional grooming.
- To support students in exploring higher education options, competitive exams, and global career trends.
- To serve as a link between academia and industry, aligning student skillsets with employer expectations.
